The Georgian property has great character and is an ideal place to stay in Scotland's capital.

The owner Edna McCombs provides a very welcome stay for all types of parties. If you are a large party or have special requirements let us know and we will try our best to accommodate.

Special rates can be negotiated for large parties or longer stays. Prices range from £25 to £60 pounds per person depending on season.

Enquiries can be made online now through our online form. A deposit may be required for large parties.

Pillars house was originally built and owned by Crawford which were offices and a spirit store in the late 18th century. Most of the building still has a lot of its character left as you can see as you walk in through the main entrance.

The courtyard where our free parking is situated was traditionally used as the delivery entrance where the horse and carts brought the whiskey from the highlands to be blended.

All rooms are en-suite and have T.V. some with D.V.D, fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, safe, hairdryer, and radio alarm clocks. During the summer months our rooms have all got fans.
