Mendip House
Mendip House, is a Victorian townhouse situated within ten minutes walk from the centre of the beautiful City of Wells.

There are four guest rooms, each with en suite facilities. All rooms are pleasantly furnished and decorated. Breakfast is served in the dining room where guests may choose from a buffet of apple/orange juice, cereal, yoghurt, and fruit, followed by a full English breakfast using our local butcher's sausages and bacon or maybe scrambled free range eggs with smoked salmon.

Wells has much to offer including the magnificent Cathedral, the Bishop's Palace, The Wells and Mendip Museum to name but a few. There is a wide range of eating places in the city centre, restaurants, pubs and cafes to suit all tastes and pockets.

There is a wealth of local tourist attractions. These include Wookey Hole, Cheddar Caves and gorge, Lonleat Safari Park and House and Glastonbury. Bath and Bristol are both within easy reach.

For those wishing to play golf there are numerous golf courses in the vicinity and fishing in the Chew Valley lakes. There are also many walking and cycling routes in the Mendip Hills.
