Gill and Joe welcome you to our family run 1930's detached guest house is in a semi-rural residential area on the outskirts of York. We are approximately one and a half miles from the city centre and are well served with a local bus service and the Park and Ride is only a stone's throw away. A 25 minute stroll takes you to the heart of the city. We have a private car park, a garden and hold a full fire certificate. There are many good pubs and restaurants nearby.

We provide non-smoking comfortable stylish accommodation, all our tastefully decorated rooms having colour television and a hostess tray. We have a variety of rooms available and can cater for single, double, twin and family requirements. Most of our rooms are en-suite but we also have rooms with shared facilities. Our highly complimented generous selection of full English or continental breakfast is served and we can also cater for special diets.

York is a compact city founded by the Romans and enclosed by medieval walls. It is a vibrant city and a living example of one of England's most beautiful and historic cities. As you can imagine, with 2000 years of history, there are many fascinating places to visit, such as York Minster, the Jorvik Viking centre, the National Railway Museum, and the Castle Museum. Or you can take a walk back in time down the Shambles and Stonegate or around the city walls.
