Ginny and Mark extend a welcome to our family home. We were attracted to the house by both its traditional mid- Victorian exterior and its proximity to local facilities and points of interest.
Within two minutes walk is Newton's Cove where we both enjoy sea- bathing during the summer months. From Newton's Cove is an easy walk around gardens to The Napoleonic Nothe Fort with its museum; where views can be enjoyed across the bay and towards Portland.
A short, level walk brings you to Brewer's Quay- a former brewery site which now offers shopping and leisure facilities. Lanes through the Square here lead directly to the harbourside with its many restaurants and the Town Bridge, which affords easy access to the town centre.
It is then easy to reach The Georgian Esplanade, the town's main golden sandy beach, The Pavilion Theatre and so many other attractions.
