This is a lovely cottage in the heart of Colchester Town - just 50 yards from the High Street in what is known as the Dutch Quarter.
The main train station is less than a mile away and the bus station is just a few minutes walk.
Jane Taylor (1783-1824), who wrote the well known poem Twinkle Twinkle Little Star lived in East Stockwell, Street and there is a plaque on numbers 11 and 12 which marks her home from 1796 to 1810.
