Loughbrow House is a large House sitting in the middle of its own Estate with 9 acres of Garden which are Mrs Clark`s pride and joy. The house is furnished with antiques and family portraits. The drawing room is 44ft. long with a plaster ceiling and marble Chimney piece. There are 1 double bedroom en-suite 1 twin en suite 1 twin room with private bath room and two single bedrooms with shared bathroom. A full English breakfast is provided and we are able to accommodate a party of four or more in addition we can provide diner with sufficient notice. We are very well situated for the Roman Wall racing at Hexham and there are three golf courses close by. It is easy to access Durham and the Lake District. Visitors are free to walk anywhere on the Estate and the views to enjoy are magnificent! It`s as if one is spending the week-end in someone`s well run country house charming unpretentious hostess staff who are efficient and kind dogs in the hall excellent meals in proper family dining room drawing room with grand piano etc.’ The large garden is lovely Our bathroom reminded me of England 40 years ago a very pretty room a bath not a shower. Additional Information
Guests have access to the large comfortable drawing room and there is also a smaller sitting room available for two to four people. Our nine acres of gardens which are opened to the public in support of charity have terraced water features a rose garden and herbaceous borders. We have an extensive kitchen garden where our vegetables fruit and flowers are grown.Dining Facilities
We provide a full English breakfast where guests will be able to enjoy our home baked bread and home-produced marmalades and preserves. No tinned food is used at Loughbrow House all Breakfast items are either home made using produce from the garden or locally sourced.Meals Available: Dinner, Breakfast (Full cooked) |
