Our aim is to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible in our beautiful victorian town house home. we are situated approx one mile from junction 40 of M6 and close to A66 east/west route and A6 north/south route central to the Lakes and Eden valley. We have a refurbished modern leisure centre 50 metres away with swimming pools, climbing wall, bowls and gym to name a few activities available.

Penrith golf course will reduce your fees when you stay at Tynedale, a golf driving range is also close by near to the Reghed underground adventure village to the west of the town.Pony trecking, cycling,(we are actually on the coast to coast cycle route)fishing and walking are all close by especially in the lakes,we are only 4 miles from Ullswater our favourite lake. Three miles from town we have a unique Jersey icecream farm where you can watch the little calves being fed, free entry to indoor and outdoor adventure playground and lots of delicious flavours of ice cream to buy!

We are both born and bred in this area and can help you with a wealth of information when you come and stay, plus we have books maps and leaflets in abundance for your use. Come and explore our region and see a beautiful part of England while staying at Tynedale guesthouse, we welcome you.
