We want you to share our home as a base for your holiday or business in the Winchester area. It has easy access to Winchester, Hursley, Stockbridge and Southampton Airport.
Situated in a tree-lined lane in the village of Sparsholt, this lovely family house overlooks the Parish Church.
Local attractions include walks in the extensive woodlands and some of the best fly fishing in the world on the River Test. Stonehenge and Portsmouth are just 45 minutes drive away.
Little Mead is within easy driving distance of Winchester and Southampton. It is also ideally sited for visitors to local institutions such as the Law Courts at Winchester, Winchester College, Sparsholt College (0.5 miles) the offices of IBM Hursley (4 miles) the communication group Arqiva at Crawley Court (3.5 miles) and the Army Training Regiment, Sir John Moore Barracks (2.9 miles).
Little Mead Bed & Breakfast is also close to a number of historical, tourist and family destinations such as Stonehenge, The New Forest, with its wild ponies and miles of unspoilt countryside and Stockbridge on the river Test. We are close to Danebury Iron Age Hillfort, the Museum of Army Flying which traces the development of army flying from its beginning during World War 1 and Thruxton Racing Circuit. For those who wish to 'dip into' Glastonbury and keep dry we are only a 45 minute drive.
You can also visit the birthplace of Jane Austen at Avesbury.
