Glencree is a fine Victorian granite House established as a hotel back in 1946. With its wealth of character and many original features, it echoes the romance of yesteryear, combined with the comfort and style of today.

Glencree House is very conveniently situated on level ground in a quiet road just off Penzance seafront. It is a short stroll to the main shopping area, Penlee House with its gardens and café, the 1930's art deco open air lido, cinemas, museums and art galleries to mention a few. It is also very convenient for the main line rail station, coach station, harbour and heliport for trips to the exotic Isles of Scilly.

There is a large dining room with separate tables for all rooms.

The lounge area is situated in the streaming sunshine of the bay at the front of the house during summer evenings. During winter, you can take advantage of our cosy open fireplace setting.

We have 8 spacious guest rooms which are tastefully furnished, all with their own features. We have a mixture of single, twin and double rooms, some of which have four-poster or king-size beds. In addition, we have family rooms available.

Some of our rooms have sea views and most have en-suite facilities. All rooms are equipped with wash basins, shaver points, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities, colour televisions, clock radios and have individually controlled heating and sitting areas for additional comfort.
