Forty Winks is within walking distance of the town centre and the Industrial area. S Ives is a small picturesque historic market town with a 13th century bridge with a chapel in the middle and a wonderful statue of Oliver Cromwell in the centre of the town. The Ouse valley walk runs through the town with riverside walks to Huntingdon and to the East. There is very good access to Cambridge, Ely, Peterborough and London and lots of amenities nearby eg Wimpole Hall, Anglesey Abbey, Houghton Mill, Ely Cathedral. Also close to the A14 and the A1 main routes.
The guided busway to Cambridge will be open shortly offering hop on hop off bus access to Cambridge with a cycle route alongside.
