Newlyn is outstandingly scenic and unspoilt. If water, walking and fishing is your thing, then this is the place to come. Where else can you sit in your room and have 180 degrees of sea and harbour in front of you to watch? Yet you are close to all the restaurants, pubs and shops you could possibly wish for - the nearest pub is 4 doors away.
The lifeboat departs from here - there is gig racing (traditional Cornish wooden boats), the beam trawlers and crabbers in and out all the time. The village of Newlyn is 300 yards down the hill.
