The Centre Offers
Tours of the Historic Rooms
Audio tours of the historic rooms are on Tuesday to Friday from 2pm or by arrangement at other times. Group visits are welcome throughout the year. We welcome visits from schools and young people.
Programme of mid week and weekend courses.
The Hall offers its own events programme of residential/day courses and retreats. These cover a wide range of spiritual and practical activities. Contact the Hall for a programme leaflet.
Conference Facilities
Accommodation for conferences, seminars and groups is available, day or residential. The main conference room can seat up to fifty people theatre style. It is wheelchair accessible and audio-visual equipment is available. There are also a number of smaller rooms for hire.
Lake District Exploration
There are three holiday units on the site one of which is suitable for those withimpaired mobility or chemical allergy. The units can be let to individuals or groups for self catering or, bed and breakfast. We can accommodate a total of 17 people in twin and single rooms.
Gardens and Grounds
Swarthmoor Hall is set in 100 acres of organic farmland. There are gardens and a wildflower meadow, which is spectacular in the early spring with crocuses and daffodils.
