With four Stars, a Silver award and a Breakfast award Pen Star House offers exceptional value for money. We have a variety of well appointed bedrooms, all have en-suite or private bathroom. We have Single Double, Twin and Family rooms. Our bedrooms are equipped with radio alarm clocks, refreshment trays, hairdryers, flat-screen tv's with dvd players. Fresh Flowers are complimentary and wi fi access is available. All rooms are centrally heated.
We have a lovely lounge, with woodburner, which guests may use for quiet relaxation or to plan your next excursion. We have a good selection of local interest books and leaflets to read.
Children are welcome and catered for. A cot and highchair are available. Reductions available for children sharing with 2 adults.
The historic port of Charlestown, with it's tall ships, is in walking distance. The picturesque historic estuary town of Fowey, with its St Catherines Castle and Readymoney cove is close by, as is The stunning Fishing village of Mevagissey with it's lovely double harbour. Already mentioned are Eden & Heligan very close by.
The coast path is also easily accessible with places like Menabilly (Daphne Du-maurier's former home) a short walk away.
The jewel in the National Trust's Cornish Crown is Lanhydrock which is also a short drive away.
Attractions are too numerous to mention. The tourist information centre is 400 yds away with everything you could possibly need or want to know about Cornwall.
