As The Laurels is centrally placed in Cornwall, Falmouth, Newquay and St Austell are all within a 30 minute drive. There are numerous lovely gardens for the horticulturalist to visit. The famous Eden Project is a short way east of St Austell.
A choice of 2 golf courses lie within a 10 minute drive. The capital city of Truro is just over a mile away, offering plenty of diverse eating places. The Cathedral is a must to visit, and hosts concerts and recitals during the summer months. The Hall for Cornwall is another venue for music lovers and theatre goers alike.
The beautiful Roseland Peninsular, with its remote sandy beaches can be reached via The King Harry Ferry which is only a short drive away.
At The Laurels we like to make you feel completely relaxed. In winter, come down to Breakfast at a time to suit you and enjoy a free range, locally sourced meal by a roaring log fire. In summer, why not have a continental breakfast in the garden? There is also a bar-b-que for guests to use on fine evenings.
There are no other houses or roads near, so despite being close to town, the atmosphere is tranquil with the sound of the waterfall and the birds always audible.
