We are a small friendly guest house that has the unique position of being within a short walk from the heart of the city centre.

Four of the cities theatres are just a short stroll away, as are many restaurants, bars, the new chapelfield shopping centre, our famous outdoor market, parks, the Victorian plantation gardens and many other fine attractions although from your bedroom window you are almost assured of spotting at least one squirrel hopping about in the trees outside.

We are a five minute bus ride to the university and the N&N Hospital, and buses stop just 50 yards away every 20 minutes.

If you haven’t brought the car don't worry we are close to the bus station where you can start your explorations of the wonderful Norfolk country side.

In the dining room you will find a wide selection of tourist information on all the surrounding areas as well as a wide selection of books, magazines, DVD's and maps.

We have really tried to anticipate what will make your stay at Ivydene a memorable one, your comfort and wellbeing is our first concern.
