The Seymour is a four storey Victorian Guest House, perfectly situated in a pretty terrace of seven houses in a quiet location. In a good position overlooking Hoe Park and a very short walk to the historic Barbican, yet very close to the bustling and vibrant city of Plymouth. A four star quality bed and breakfast, but we are family run and homely. We try our best to make our guests feel comfortable and welcome.
Train, bus & coach stations, also continental & local ferries ports are all within walking distance. HMS Raleigh is 3 miles away.
Our rooms have some nice features such as good quality bedding and flat screen TVs. They are nicely decorated in neutral tones of beige & cream with many extra touches to make your stay comfortable. The rooms at the front of the guest house have good views of the Hoe towards the Royal Citadel. The rear of the property looks out over the city centre.
Plymouth has a wealth of restaurants from numerous nationalities. Large shopping centre. Theatres and night life.
The Barbican area is very cosmopolitan with harbour and waterside open air cafes and bars. The sea front is a very stunning large natural bay. The Hoe has a lovely park area with Smeatons Tower Light House, Statues and Monuments.
The guest house is in an area with plenty to offer its visitors and the beautiful countryside and coast of Devon and Cornwall are only a short drive away.
