There are three double en-suite rooms at Honister House and all rooms are equipped to a high standard. It is an ideal place to stay with friends or family where you will feel you have the run of the place, but without having to make everyone's breakfast. Two of the rooms have the additional feature of a connecting door, making a self contained family unit, but with private facilities in both rooms. There is a special tariff for the suite. Please enquire for details.
There are many walks from Honister House and walkers can also take the Lake ferry which has five different stopping off points to access some of the fells.
Honister House is five minutes flat walk to the Theatre by the Lake and Derwentwater Lake. It is only a few yards from all amenities, including bars, restaurants and the Information Centre, but is quiet in the evening.
We cater for meat eaters and vegetarians and vegans and can also cater for special diets on request. We have a Best Breakfast award from the AA and we use local, organic and Fairtrade produce.
We are keen walkers and can assist with information and maps. You can be assured of a warm welcome and a relaxing stay.

Additional Information
Like many other properties in Keswick there is no parking at the establishment. Therefore, we have purchased parking permits for Central Car park near to the house and these are free to our guests. |
