The Swandale Guest House is situated in a residential street, on the North side of Bridlington. The North beach and promenade are just a short stroll away. From here you can take a short walk along the sea front to the town centre, or the harbour. Relax with a cup of coffee, or enjoy your fish and chips as you watch the various boats, coming in and out of the harbour. For the more energetic, take a walk along the cliff top towards Sewerby and Flamborough, admire the magnificent views of Bridlington Bay and Flamborough Head. At Sewerby you can refresh yourself at Ship Inn on the cliff top, or take time to explore Sewerby Hall and gardens. If bird watching is your thing, then the RSPB sanctury at Bempton is a must. Situated 3 miles North of Bridlington, on top of 400ft high cliffs. This is a stunning setting for watching thousands of nesting seabirds. Also boat trips depart from Bridlingtoin harbour during the season, that give you a sea eyes view of the spectacular cliffs. The historic city of York is less than an hours drive away over the picturesque Yorkshire Wolds. Scenes of which have been captured in the paintings of the world famous artist, David Hockney.
