Beautiful Victorian Guest house peacefully situated on a side street in Windermere Village overlooking Queens Park. The spacious rooms are all en-suite tastefully decorated and well equipped, with tv/dvd , cd, tea and coffee making hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. The larger rooms have a sofa and mini fridge. There is a cottage style front garden and sun terrace for guests to use, with ample outside seating and shade.
We serve a traditional home cooked full English breakfast, or vegetarian option, lighter breakfasts also are available. We use local produce whenever possible and always free range eggs.
Windermere Village is approximately a three minute walk, where there are restaurants, cafes, shops, supermarket, laundry, banks, art galleries, antiques and pubs.
The nearby villages of Ambleside and Hawkshead are easy to reach by ferry, bus or car, Keswick, Grasmere and Kendal are reached by bus or car. The town of Bowness and the Lake are approximately a twenty minute walk or short drive, where there is the Beartix Potter Attraction, Lake cruises and cinema.
