The Collingdale in Ilfracombe is an award winning four star Victorian guest house, beautifully situated directly on the South West coastal path, with stunning views across the harbour and magnificent cliff top scenery of Hillsborough Nature Reserve. Just a few minutes walk to the beautiful historic harbour with it's excellent selection of restaurants, shops, cafés and galleries and the ferry to Lundy Island. The town centre, Landmark Theatre and famous Tunnels Beaches are also within easy walking distance. There is a cosy well-stocked bar and an elegant dining room, where your breakfast will be served. Here you can browse our excellent selection of juices, fruit, yoghurt and cereals whilst waiting for your delicious Devon breakfast to be freshly cooked to order. Or perhaps you will choose our local naturally smoked haddock or kippers. The AA has recently awarded The Collingdale a Breakfast Award in recognition of our very special, high quality breakfast with emphasis on freshly prepared local ingredients, so you can be assured of an excellent start to your day. Please note that our rooms are situated over several floors, so we may not be suitable for guests with restricted mobility. Please advise at the time of booking if you would prefer a room on the lower floor and we will endeavour to meet your request. But for those of you happy to go to the top it will be worth the climb for the fantastic views! Sorry our accommodation is not suitable for children aged under 8 years of age.
