St Gregory's is a large Edwardian semi-detached house that has been tastefully maintained, and offers high quality en-suite accommodation with wireless broadband internet access. The house was used as a hospital for recovering British soldiers during the First World War, and is now the home of popular local artist Chris Hutchins, his wife Sue and their good-natured dog Dawson.

Wroxham itself has a range of restaurants and pubs to choose from, along with a good selection of local shops. Boats can be hired by the day or hour from Wroxham and Horning. The historic market towns of Aylsham (close to the Boleyn estate at Blickling), Coltishall and North Walsham are within easy reach, as is Cromer, with its renowned end of the pier shows and summer carnival.

Norwich, with its magnificent Norman cathedral and castle keep, its pedestrian-friendly medieval town centre and modern award-winning Chapelfield Mall development offers a huge variety of shops, pubs, clubs, restaurants and cinemas, all within easy walking distance.
