In transforming Henshaw Barn from a rustic building to a much loved family home, we have tried to emphasise its strength and simplicity, retaining where possible any existing original features (exposed beams, rugged stone, and arrow slit windows with solid lintels.) The introduction of beautiful, bespoke oak doors with oak architraves are additional enhancements, as is a newly created huge stone fireplace to house a wood burning stove. Furniture is in keeping (country pine and oak) with sofas to sink into, cushions to covet, snuggly duvets, quality linen, luscious toiletries & warm cosy bathrobes - plus underfloor heating, power showers, ample hot water, comfy beds, and locally sourced, seasonal food from our very own in-house chef - delightful indulgences waiting to be enjoyed, and the warmest of country welcomes.
