For those who prefer a little privacy and independence, the Old Mill Spetisbury B&B is a fabulous place to stay.
Our garden with its ever-changing flora and fauna has been designated a Site of Nature Conservation Interest (SNCI). The stunning riverside location allows you to watch out for our many visitors...kingfishers, swans, egrets, herons and sometimes otters.
The light and spacious family room has been recently refurbished to a very high standard. It is accessed by stairs on the outside of the building which look out over your private garden with river frontage. The ensuite bathroom has a bath and shower.
Poole, Bournemouth, Blandford Forum and Wimborne are close by; Dorchester, Shaftesbury and Sherborne a short drive away.
The Beaches at Canford Cliffs and Sandbanks are 20 minutes awayand Studland, Swanage and the Jurassic Coast are within easy reach.
We are well placed for many of Dorset's local attractions and events including The Great Dorset Steam Fair and The Larmer Tree Gardens and Festival.
We are perfectly situated for visiting the many numerous independent schools in the area.
There are many beautiful countryside walks on our doorstep.
The friendly village pub is only a short walk away.
