The priory is a truly unusual and beautiful house with an excellent location, being within walking distance to the iconic and vast Dartmoor national park.

The Priory is a very large house with a turret on the front of it that has been there since the 13th Century, this does give the house a look of a castle but it has been said it was once used and lived in by monks that served the local Abbey.

The Priory is situated within easy walking distance of tavistock town centre where there is all sorts of amenities available including the well known Pannier Market where all sort of lovely items can be purchased.

There is also an excellent pub less than half an mile away from the house "Whitchurch Inn" that has excellent reviews from everyone who has stayed.

Also is a very popular golf club that is also less than a mile away and is well known and used as the course itself is on the moors!

The rooms are all executed to a very high standard with stunning French king size beds or four posters and large queen size four poster stylish En suite bathrooms. All rooms are available with or without breakfast the cost is £6 per person per night and is served in your own personal room to your requirements
