Harbour View Newlyn directly overlooks the commercial harbour of Newlyn, Mount's Bay and St Michael’s Mount.
NEW FOR 2017 - all bedrooms refurbished.
A traditional Cornish mid terrace house built about 1860 over 4 floors. Situated directly on the harbourside, in the working community and fishing harbour of Newlyn, in an elevated position with outstanding sea/harbour views in all directions. You can sit in your bay window and watch the beam trawlers, lifeboat, crabbers come and go whilst you read. Come and go as you please.
We are on the coast road between Penzance and Mousehole in west Cornwall. Penzance, with the main train/bus/coach station and taxi rank just 2 miles away plus a good range of shops. We have a main bus route directly here from Penzance (No. 6 Newlyn Red Lion stop). Buses west of here can be boarded in Newlyn village.
A generous full English Breakfast is available downstairs overlooking the harbour. Also on offer is a range of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, tinned prunes and grapefruit, toast and toppings, fresh percolated coffee and tea, plus herb and fruit teas.
Newlyn is in a village with some shops and plenty of foodie pubs and restaurants – the nearest foodie pub is 4 doors away – the nearest restaurant 6 doors away.
Available locally are fishing, water activities, boating, walking, cycling, golf, golden beaches - the best are 4-8 miles away.
Land's End and St Ives are 10 miles, the Minack Theatre and the famous Porthcurno beach 8 miles away.
