Bankfield Bed And Breakfast
Contact / Location
Haxby is a large village, four miles from the centre of York. The village boasts excellent facilities, including various shops, café’s, takeaways, pubs and restaurants.
Haxby offers quick access to York – historic medieval centre, the Minster, the National Railway Museum and theatres.
The village is a good starting point for those wanting to explore the Yorkshire coast, the Dales, the North Yorkshire Moors, the picturesque villages of the Howardian Hills and the fabulous Castle Howard (setting for Brideshead revisited).
We are also located on the path of the Ebor Way, which leads into York along the banks of the river Foss.
Bankfield B&B is a 100 year old farmhouse with a later Dutch barn style extension. All rooms offer tea and coffee making facilities, home-made biscuits, flat-screen televisions with Freeview, a hair drier and free wifi.
Breakfast products are sourced locally. The jams are made on site with fruit grown in our own garden.
We do offer reduced single occupancy rates.
